In PLANETS, Kfir Ziv reveals that the universe is not only found in the sky — it hides within the smallest details before our eyes. Presented at Art Basel Miami in 2007, the series transforms familiar surfaces into mysterious cosmic landscapes. Through close-up photography, dramatic light, and deep shadow, ordinary textures become planets, craters, mountains, and distant worlds.
The work invites the viewer to look again — not through knowledge, but through wonder.
