Epiphany

In Epiphany, a popcorn kernel is revealed as a moment of revelation: an everyday material illuminated from within, transformed into an almost celestial body. Against a black background, its folds, textures, and light create the feeling of an inner landscape — somewhere between a fossil, a cloud, a living body, and a sculpture of light.

The work explores the moment in which the familiar breaks away from its simple function and is rediscovered as an object filled with depth, mystery, and presence.
